How World Table Tennis Pulled Off a Custom Credentialing Sprint — with K&A Industries at Their Side

The organizers of United States SMASH — part of the World Table Tennis calendar — had less than two weeks to finalize their event badging solution.

Printers, supplies, and accessories were still unresolved. Their credentialing software partner, Accredit Solutions, suggested K&A. They thought we might be able to help. They were right. Held in Las Vegas during the July 4th holiday, the event tested just how fast logistics could move. From preprinted credential stock to expedited lanyards and 30 unique wristband variations, we kept production moving — on time and on brand.

The Solution

From rushed to relaxed: event credentials delivered on time

Our job was to make sure SMASH could print credentials on-site, on time, and without disruption. That meant securing the right equipment, delivering materials quickly, and staying available to troubleshoot the unexpected. With our usual sample-and-approval process compressed to a matter of days, the pressure was on — but tight timelines don’t shake us.

Credentials

Oversized cards were preprinted with fully formatted backs (terms and conditions included) — allowing for quick on-site personalization.

Printers

Zebra printers were configured in-house and en route to Las Vegas with 10 days to spare — giving the on-site team time to test and get set up.

Lanyards

Two heat-transfer designs were produced in days — bypassing longer processes needed with more intricate designs while keeping visuals sharp and consistent.

Wristbands

With 30 variations required, we sourced Tyvek^® and plastic options that matched the format — and the deadline.
