Two weeks, a global tournament, and a July 4th holiday weekend where K&A delivered flawless, on-brand event credentialing for this smashing sports tournament.
United States SMASH
United States SMASH, part of the World Table Tennis calendar, needed to finalize their event badging solution in less than two weeks before its Las Vegas tournament.
Held over the July 4th holiday, the event faced a tight timeline with key details still unresolved. Event badges, printers, supplies, and accessories had yet to be finalized, and deadlines were quickly closing in.
The organizers needed a complete event badging solution, but with so little time remaining, many of the usual options were no longer available. Custom lanyards, wristbands, and badge materials often require weeks of production and shipping time — especially around a major holiday. Plus, they still needed printer rentals and a reliable way to personalize badges on-site.
Normally, the event credentialing for a sports tournament is planned months in advance. That gives organizers time to compare options, review samples, coordinate suppliers, and avoid expensive rush production.
This time, there was no room for delays.
“We understand that deadlines are non-negotiable. We’re here to craft a solution that works within your challenges — budget, timeframe, and deadlines — and to guide you through the event. Whether it’s coordinating shipments or providing technical assistance, we’re with you every step of the way.”

K&A quickly aligned badge requirements, coordinated suppliers, and streamlined production to meet the compressed schedule. That meant preprinting oversized credential stock, configuring Zebra printers before shipping them to Las Vegas, and producing two custom lanyard designs in just days. When cloth wristbands could not be produced in time, K&A sourced Tyvek and plastic alternatives across 30 variations.
Throughout the process, K&A remained involved beyond production alone. The team coordinated shipments, handled approvals across multiple time zones, and provided technical support during the event itself, helping United States SMASH stay focused on the tournament rather than the logistics behind it.

Oversized cards were preprinted with fully formatted backs (terms and conditions included) — allowing for quick on-site personalization.
Zebra printers were configured in-house and en route to Las Vegas with 10 days to spare — giving the on-site team time to test and get set up.
Two heat-transfer designs were produced in days — bypassing longer processes needed with more intricate designs while keeping visuals sharp and consistent.
The best event credentialing for sports tournaments starts long before the first attendee arrives. K&A helps sports organizers plan badges, printers, lanyards, wristbands, shipping, and support months in advance — so the next event runs more smoothly and with fewer surprises.
